Abby’s passion to see ideas become reality shines through with her dedicated attitude in providing the research, guidance, and proposal assistance critical for clients to reach their goals with Bankable Consulting. With fifteen years of experience writing successful grants, she is skilled in locating funding opportunities and coordinating the development of strong proposals. Her background is diverse, and she has served as a grant writer for a range of initiatives, included (but not limited to):

• private employers

• economic  and workforce development

• healthcare institutions

• four year colleges

• private foundations

• manufacturing and technology initiatives

• statewide and multi-state consortia

• public schools across northwest Pennsylvania

• arts and historic preservation nonprofits

She has served as lead grant coordinator on over 100 proposals, with awards ranging from under $1,000 to several over $1M. She is the manager of an extension center of a community college and board member of the Northwest Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center, as well as a volunteer with several economic development and education committees. Former career positions include work for two private Fortune 500 companies, in editorial positions for scholarly, advertising, and newspaper publications, and as a grant consultant with multiple nonprofits ranging from start-ups to multi-million dollar agencies.
